Last week was literally one of my hardest weeks at work, at one point I felt like bursting into tears because of how crazy everything was getting and am glad I work with some really helpful people. But these kind of days make it worthwhile when you have some days off.
All that aside, this was the most epic weekends I’ve had in a long…long time. I found out the bf had a weekend off too and so he decided to take me to one of my bucket list places in WA – Palouse falls.
There were many obstacles that played against us on this weekend together, like my bf being unable to finish work until 12:30noon on Saturday( Palouse falls is 4 hrs away and we had initially planned on leaving by 8am), so I drove the whole way like a mad woman so we would get there at least by sunset and hopefully get sunset views at these amazing waterfalls. On getting there (after a very emotional 3.5hr drive, with the bf trying to convince me we should just drive into Yakima instead and go there on Sunday) we got to the beautiful falls in good time, parked right In Front of the amazing view and basically had the most amazing time walking around and enjoying the whole place.
As you can tell it was an overcast day but these pictures don’t even do Palouse falls justice, it is beautiful, esp if all you see in wa is the greenery, it’s a nice change, seeing how nature re-arranges itself to create incredible things like these(who knew we could find waterfalls in the middle of eastern Washington?)…And the bf was really happy too 😀
We went to Yakima for some more planned events.
