So my sister did a remix with this cute print top, styling the top with a skirt and pants. I love them both but I have to say the skirt wins it for me!, for starters, shopping in Kenyan markets almost guarantees unique finds like the dress top. I think the print is rather unique, have you seen/do you own a print like the that?
And the shoes are to die for! I always shy away from bright colored shoes, esp pink but now am convinced I could rock them. I think I would call this outfit bold and fierce , same words I would describe my sister lol.
Let’s not forget the clutch too, so cute! I could definitely see myself with that. All in all I love the remix style, the pants would be perfect for a day of shopping and running errands, while the skirt would be perfect for dinner, brunch or church, which is what my sister dressed it for.
I think this is a good example of being well dressed without wasting money on clothing items, I hear a lot of girls talking about how dressing up daily would cost them money, but dressing up doesn’t mean wearing designer clothes and new clothes everyday (unless of course if you can afford that – then read no more lol), learning to shop your closet, buy sales items and thrift shopping can result to amazing outfits.
Lastly, is that hair style a Kenyan trend now? Lupita nyong’o had a similar hair style for SAG awards and I saw a lot of girls saying it wasn’t age appropriate and that she looked like a child?
I think it’s very cute and appropriate for adults. What do you think guys?
“Stay inspired and stylish my friends” ✌️
